Emergency help for glass and burglary damage

When glass breaks, the response matters. Glermenn receives requests for broken panes, burglary damage and other situations where glass creates risk, insecurity or an exposed space.

What to do first

If there is broken glass on the floor or in the frame, avoid touching the pieces with bare hands. Keep people away from the area, take photos if you can do so safely, and call or send a request with the location and a description.

  • Keep children and pets away from broken glass.
  • Do not try to remove large or stuck pieces of glass without the right tools.
  • Take photos from a safe distance.
  • Tell us whether this is burglary damage, a broken pane or another kind of damage.
  • Call right away if the space is open, unprotected or at risk of further damage.

Information that helps us

It helps to send photos, the address or location, a phone number, the size or a rough description of the glass, and whether access is good. If an insurance claim is involved, mention it in the request.
